Alex del Barrio, better known as DJ Kong, is a DJ who specializes in weddings and social events. For Kong, music isn’t just sound—it’s a lifestyle. He connects genres and songs to his everyday experiences, turning each set into something personal and powerful.

He began his professional career over 23 years ago and has since performed throughout nearly all of Mexico, as well as internationally in the United States (Kona Hawaii, Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Orlando, New York, Brownsville, Texas, New Orleans, and more), Canada (Vancouver, Toronto), and Europe (Mallorca, Dublin).

One of Kong’s proudest milestones was opening a concert in Mexico for one of his favorite bands, Café Tacvba, collaborating on that unforgettable experience alongside fellow DJs NSMPSM (No Somos Machos Pero Somos Muchos).

You can regularly find DJ Kong mixing at exclusive events for well-known brands, but most weekends he’s bringing the heat to high-end weddings across Mexico.
